Proposed changes to admission arrangements

The Governing Body at St Thomas’ CE Primary School wishes to consult on changes to the school’s admission arrangements for Reception Class entry for academic year 2021. 


The proposed changes are: 

  • the definition of Children in Care to include those from outside of England

  • the Church criteria (2) to be split into two categories, with priority given to those who worship at St Thomas’ or St Mary Magdalene’s. Other churches will move into a new category (4), after the criteria for siblings.


The consultation will run from Thursday 19th December 2019 until Thursday January 30th 2020 and you are invited to submit comments in writing about the proposal.


All comments received during the consultation period will be considered by the Governing Body before final arrangements are determined by 28 February.
